On my novel in progress

I don't want to give away too much, so as to keep most of the idea untouched by foreign minds. Just as a safety in case I actually have something amazing. I am incredibly confident about my ideas for this book, last night as ideas raced through my mind I felt an overwhelming sense of euphoria when I stumbled upon an idea. I will pitch it to you now, without spoiling too much at all.

Dystopian future set in America 2300's. Genetic modification has become the new premiere science after a nuclear accident wiped out huge swaths of land all over the globe. People fear death, use GMO's, Organ/Limb transplants and advances in cosmetic surgery to live significantly longer lives, being able to appear 20 even until death at 130-150. Additionally, there have been advances in   technology such that utility modifications can be made that can do a variety of useful things. However, despite man's ability to look like or be whatever he wants, there is widespread unspoken fear and unhappiness. A rebellious group called the Apostate take a stand opposing this lifestyle, an under ground, mystical reputation, all members are hairless and unaltered in anyway.

This only covers half of the novels theme, the more material of the primary two. Among with many other subthemes raised by the idea of genetic engineering.

If you are interested, leave a comment and I can post more information.
